You paid for this: the desperate housewives hate abortion
but I love them anyway
I've been watching Desperate Housewives for the first time, and I can already promise it won't be the last. Something is endearing about this show's messiness, not just the fictional characters but also the behind-the-scenes. This is the exact kind of early aughts show that clearly had drama. How could they not with eight seasons and such a strong-willed, famous cast?
I love the show for its campy glory, moving storylines, and absolute absurdity. Why is there so much murder on this street? Why would so many bizarre things happen to each of these women all the time? It's not normal to have so many neighbors die!
I love Gaby, Bree, Lynette, and Susan in that order. I hate all the men except Carlos, and I guess Orson has grown on me. The kids mostly suck, but the Scavo twin boys are fun, and I like Juanita. In real life, I've become obsessed with Eva Longoria and am delighted that she's a good person in real life. I think it's adorable that she, Marcia Cross, and Felicity Huffman are close in real life.
My biggest bone to pick with this show isn't the fact that Susan Mayer is a nightmare and all of her choices are terrible, though that's number two. My biggest issue with Desperate Housewives is they are absolutely allergic to abortion.
